CAR.OSTRADE. PART. RECYCLE.

CAR.OS · USING THE PLATFORM

Terms of service

The terms for using CAR.OS and purchasing its business software services, including how to cancel a subscription or query a payment.

Effective and last updated: 14 September 2026

Need to cancel or query a charge?

Email sales@tradepartrecycle.com with your business name, account email and invoice reference. A cancellation received before your next renewal stops that renewal. See the policy below.

1. Service and accounts

CAR.OS is provided by Trade Parts Hub Ltd, trading as CAR.OS TPR / CAR.OS Trade.Part.Recycle (“we”, “us”), registered in England and Wales (company number 15435255). Registered office: 5 Moss Road, Billinge, Wigan, England, WN5 7BU. Contact sales@tradepartrecycle.com or 01942 620 678.

CAR.OS provides software for automotive parts operations. Selected modules can cover stock records and photography, listing preparation, connected sales channels, orders and fulfilment, collection and delivery planning, driver evidence and reporting. Your confirmed plan identifies what is included. Preview or roadmap features are not a commitment to supply unreleased functionality.

These terms cover CAR.OS accounts and software services. A separately agreed written service order takes priority on matters it expressly covers; existing customer agreements are not retrospectively replaced. Requesting a quote or viewing a price estimate does not itself create a paid subscription.

The service is intended for business use. You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for your organisation. Provide accurate details, protect credentials, assign appropriate permissions and report suspected unauthorised access. Your organisation is responsible for its users’ activity.

Use the platform lawfully. Do not upload unlawful or misleading content, infringe rights, introduce malicious software, bypass permissions or disrupt services. You must have permission to upload content, process customer or staff data and connect third-party accounts. Nothing here removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including consumer rights where applicable.

2. Prices, payments and delivery

Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) unless your confirmed order states otherwise. Public monthly estimates exclude VAT. Your quote or checkout must disclose the applicable tax, total, modules, allowances and billing frequency before you pay. Marketplace fees, postage and separately booked transport are additional unless expressly included.

A paid subscription starts only when you confirm the paid order and payment terms. Recurring plans renew at the disclosed frequency until cancelled. A free pilot or expression of interest does not automatically become paid. Any trial conversion and first charge must be disclosed and authorised. Additional users, modules, usage or work are charged only under terms agreed with you.

For Stripe payments, card details are collected through Stripe’s payment interface. We receive payment and subscription records to administer your account. Do not send full card details or security codes to support.

Digital service delivery

Software access is supplied online through your CAR.OS workspace, with no physical shipment. Access is enabled after payment confirmation and completion of agreed onboarding or account checks. Any onboarding requirements or agreed activation date must be disclosed before purchase. Contact us if access is not available as agreed.

Transport is a separate service where booked. Availability, location, charges, expected timing, cancellation conditions and the responsible operator must be confirmed for that booking. A software subscription alone does not book a collection or guarantee delivery timing.

3. Cancellation, refunds and returns

Cancel a subscription

Email sales@tradepartrecycle.com from your account email or provide enough details for us to verify your authority. Identify the organisation and subscription. We will confirm the end date. Requests received before the next renewal stop that renewal even if our team processes them later.

Unless a separately agreed service order or legal right provides otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, with access continuing until then and no further renewal charge. Disconnecting a channel, uninstalling an integration or stopping use does not cancel the CAR.OS subscription.

Refund policy

For business subscriptions, fees for access already supplied and unused portions of the current period are normally non-refundable after voluntary cancellation. This does not affect refunds included in your service order or required by law.

  • Duplicate or incorrect charges, and renewals taken after a valid cancellation, will be corrected and the amount wrongly charged refunded.
  • If we cannot activate a paid service as agreed and cannot resolve this with you, we will refund the amount paid for the service not supplied.
  • If we permanently discontinue a prepaid service early, we will refund the unused portion unless you agree an alternative.
  • For other service failures or disputed charges, contact us with the payment date, amount and reference. We will investigate and explain the resolution and any remedy due.

Approved refunds go to the original payment method where possible. We will confirm when issued; the time to appear depends on your payment provider. There are no physical goods to return for a software subscription.

Parts purchases and consumer rights

Physical parts purchases follow the seller’s terms and returns policy shown at checkout. For our retail store, see the Trade.Part.Recycle sale and returns terms. Those purchases are separate from CAR.OS software.

If you buy as a consumer and statutory cancellation rights apply, those rights take priority. Acceptance of these terms alone does not waive a cooling-off period or authorise early digital supply where separate express consent is required.

4. Listings and connected services

A connection authorises the operations you enable and permissions you grant. eBay, Shopify and other providers’ own terms, fees and requirements apply. Integrations can be delayed or interrupted: review statuses and errors before relying on publication, stock updates or dispatch confirmations.

You must check part identification, condition, fitment, prices, quantities and customer details. AI suggestions and image analysis require human review and may be wrong. Reports and material estimates do not replace independently required certification, waste documentation or professional assessment.

The listing tool does not by itself make Trade Parts Hub Ltd the seller of your goods, guarantee publication or create a payout arrangement. The named seller remains responsible for its listings, stock, product compliance, taxes and buyer obligations. Marketplace participation, commissions and payment distribution require a separately confirmed seller arrangement.

Review orders and tracking before confirming dispatch. A tracking reference alone does not guarantee courier acceptance or delivery. Disconnecting a channel does not automatically end published listings, cancel orders or remove channel records.

5. Content and personal information

You retain rights in your uploaded content. You authorise us and our providers to host, copy, process and transmit it as needed for your chosen services, including channel publication you authorise. This does not transfer ownership to us.

Our privacy policy explains personal information handling. Where you decide the purpose of customer or staff data processing, you are responsible for a lawful basis, appropriate notices and instructions. We process that business data on your behalf under applicable data protection law and agreed service arrangements. Contact us for your organisation’s data processing terms.

Keep copies of important records and check offline work has synchronised. Before closing an account, contact support about available export or retrieval. Records needed for legal, accounting, security or unresolved claims purposes may be retained as explained in our privacy policy.

6. Availability and responsibility

We will provide services with reasonable care and skill. Maintenance, connectivity and third-party outages can affect availability. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or a particular sales, recycling or financial result unless agreed in writing.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, unlawful activity, material breach or overdue payment. Where practicable, we will explain and allow an opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate restriction may be needed to protect people, records or services.

Each party remains responsible for its acts and omissions. We are not responsible for failures caused solely by inaccurate information you supply, unauthorised changes or third-party services outside our control, except where the law or our own responsibility requires otherwise. Nothing limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

7. Changes, complaints and law

We will notify material changes to paid services, renewal prices or these terms before they apply, allowing you to decide whether to continue. Price changes do not alter a period already paid for. You can cancel before a future renewal change takes effect. Necessary legal or security changes may need to apply sooner.

For complaints, email sales@tradepartrecycle.com or call 01942 620 678. Include your business name, account email, relevant references and desired resolution. Contact hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm UK time, excluding public holidays. See support.

These terms and business disputes are governed by the law and courts of England and Wales unless a separately agreed contract says otherwise. This does not remove mandatory protections or rights to local courts where applicable to a consumer.
